Jewish Sex Life
WARNING: This post contains issues not suitable for young children.
So, I was watching a podcast the other day and this rabbi was talking about how Jewish couples will have a 2 week "on" sex period and then 12 days "off."
He said it was because they never want their marriage to become routine and boring so refraining from sex for this period of time would allow them an opportunity to "recharge."
He also suggested that if you are not prepared to take on this practice, that as a wife you should not walk around your room naked. He said if your husband is watching t.v. and you take your clothes off and he continues to watch t.v. then you have possibly entered into a marital slump.
Your body should be a sight that causes your husband to think of nothing else.
Very interesting...
(I guess I should note, that this has nothing to do with how your body looks. It has everything to do with mundane marital relations which lack mystery and special moments)

What does this mean for the post-baby body?
Do Jewish mom's not get any action?
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
I think that's pretty awesome stuff. We should aim to the best we can be for our spouse...not just with our health and appearance, but in many other ways as well. I think it takes a brave woman to challenge other women to be this kind of wife.
Thanks!
