The Little Things
So, after having my first week punched at a new job with new people and new experiences I came home this evening tired but prepared to tackle the grocery store later on.
I asked Des if he wanted to go with me and he conveniently took a short nap.
After I woke him up to go to the store, he said, "No you stay here and relax and I'll go get the groceries."
That made me smile.

Yay Desmond.
It's nice that he not only volunteered to go but you can trust him to go and bring back appropriate items.
Last time Jay volunteered to do the shopping he came home with boiled eggs in a bag, beef jerky and a full pineapple.
But I guess I should focus on the little things and say it's the thought that counts :)

Kristy! Hi, old friend- so I gather from your previous posts that you are back in Charlotte. What is happening with you guys?
We are once again trekking new territory having moved to NY and still figuring it all out. I have been absent from the blogging world but am back. Consistency is hard for me with some things. :) Please give Des and the rest of the "fam" in Charlotte our love. Take Care!
