I want...

I have great empathy for moms and the constant demand children place on you. It's so hard to keep a level head when you are trying to keep things in order and take care of people's needs and then as soon as you take care of one need another need arises that only you can fix. Some days it's just draining and I've had to realize that kids can't think about anyone but themselves. They have no idea that you are multi-tasking folding laundry, fixing dinner, changing babies, and they ask for a drink, or a snack, or a piece of tape. And they want it NOW!
So after having a few of those days in a row where I feel like it's all I can do to make it all happen just under the wire, of course one of them asks something that just made me laugh.
After bath time, we're coming down the stairs and J has to take one step at a time because you know, she's only 2. So she's coming down the stairs one at a time, and she looks at me and says, "Can you get my booger?"

"Of course I can get your booger"

Haha. Kids have it made. I wish I had someone who would get my boogers for me.
