To build you up, my sisters

So I'm reading this book "Every Young Woman's Battle" which is a spin off of "Every Woman's Battle" which was a spin off of "Every Man's Battle." Whew!
I'm reading it for our Bible studies with the teen girls at the Club. Great book. I would recommend it just for information purposes.
Anyway, reading it today, I was reminded of some great things the Bible and other people has to say about the way God sees the women He has created. Hopefully these quotes will build up the women who read them:

"All beautiful you are my darling; there is no flaw in you." Song of Songs 4:7

"God thinks I'm beautiful! the Creator of the Universe who hung the sun, ,moon, and stars calls me beautiful! I never realized how powerful those words are. If God spoke and the world was created, then His word is power. If God said, "Let there be light," and there was, then if He says I'm beautiful, I am. It may take me a while to see myself this way, but God said it and that makes it true. If God thinks I'm beautiful, then I guess what other people think doesn't really matter."

"For you created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:13-16

"The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord...All glorious is the princess within her chamber; her gown is interwoven with gold. In embroidered garments she is led to the king; her virgin companions follow her and are brought to you. They are led in with joy and gladness; they enter the palace of the king." Psalm 45:11,13-15

I remember one summer I worked at camp and the counselors in the girls cabin did this really cool thing. They made pretty posters and put them up in the girls cabin on the mirrors in the bathroom with words on them like, "You are beautiful, there is no flaw in you" and "the king is enthralled by your beauty."
I thought it was an incredible thing to do. Every time I was in that bathroom I thought about the number of girls who were maybe reading those words for the first time and how thankful I was that the counselors had made those signs for them.

If only there were more people in the world to tell the women of this world how beautiful they are.

    Here are a few more:

    "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with every-increasing glory." 2 Corinthians 3:18

    "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears [respects and serves] the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30

    "I love myself because God made me, and I'm growing more beautiful by the day because I'm becoming more like Jesus."
