She's Going to Be 80 tomorrow...

The Queen Mum will celebrate her 80th birthday on April 21, 2006. I still remember my pledge in Girl Guides..."I promise to do my best. To do my duty to God, the Queen, and my country. To help other people at all times, especially those at home."

You know...I don't really know. We (Newfoundland) were once owned by England. That ended in 1949 so I don't really know why we kept the pledging going. I mean, she's a good Queen, I didn't mind pledging to her...
