Groceries!

One of the things I love to do is get groceries. I think that food is one of the evident blessings God has given. Some have heard me talk about this before. There's some sort of satisfaction I get from seeing our refridgerator and cupboards full of food and when it's that way, all I want to do is cook. I love to cook. I love to serve by serving food. I don't think I would want one of those little slicer things that's supposed to save you time, because for me, it would take away from the love that goes into a meal. Not to mention me not getting to use my super cool knives! There's just satisfaction when I have worked hard on a meal and for someone to say "this is delicious." As I cook, I will usually thank God for different food items. "God, thanks for the broccoli." "God, thanks for making strawberries." "God, where did the inspiration come from for mushrooms." "God, why can't all the calories be in things I don't like..."
Jesus ate with friends. Jesus used food as a means to bring people together. The church in Acts ate together and had a jolly good time while doing so.
Kind of a weird post this time.
