connolly family
I was talking to my mom the other night and she said that another classmate of mine has died.
His name was Chris. We went to highschool together. We worked together for a summer at a museum. We had some conversations about God. I don't know if he ever decided to follow God.
I was saying to Des that it's strange how already at this point in my life I am talking about people I went to school with who are no longer around. Those are supposed to be conversations you have when you're in a nursing home and your friends come to visit and bring you up on all the latest neighborhood news.
Pray for the Connolly family. Pray for his little sister.

One of the most earth shaking incidents in my life was when I learned of a guy I went to school with was killed.
He was sitting up against a Seven Eleven, talking on a pay phone, when a teen driver hit the gas instead of the breaks, jumped the curb onto the store sidewalk and smashed him against the wall.
It was a horrible situation and it made me realize that there is an end.
Yuck! What a sad topic.
