You know Stephanie, when you meet a kid and they're the only kid you know by that name, it's hard to know any other kid with that same name and you not think of the other kid you knew before. LOL, that looks complicated...all that to say, I met a kid named Malik. And every time I hear his name I think about little Malik across the street in Charlotte, and I miss him. So when I looked at that email the kids sent me and each of their names, I missed them a lot.
It was a wonderful email to receive.

Good! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Malik's mom got sent out of Savannah Woods... she came to the Club to make some calls and work some things out, and she left Malik with us for a couple of days... who knows if I'll ever see him again... he is a great kid! (We also had 2 other Malik's with us for the summer... and one has been coming for a while, so he is who I think of first when I hear that name!)
