Snow Day

Nothing much going on today because it's a snow day. The only thing missing is - the SNOW!
At least they're being cautious.
When we were younger and would complain about having to walk to school in the snow, there was always someone in everyone's house who would talk about the "good 'ol days" when the snow was so high that you could touch the top of the telephone poles. All the Newfie's remember those stories...
There was that one winter where it snowed a total of 20 ft. I remember shoveling our driveway with my roomates with someone on the ground shoveling the snow up to the first snow bank where another person was standing who would then shovel the snow OVER that bank. It was a crazy amount of snow. I never want to see that much snow again.
Thankfully today, I am in a warm place with hot chocolate and toast.
I can't wait to see what Brody thinks of the snow when it finally arrives!
