This Is Your Life
Another idea that never came to fruition:
Some time a couple of years ago, while sitting in a funeral in Charlotte I got to thinking about the eulogies.
I wondered if all this stiff had ever been said to the person while they were alive.
So then I thought, well why don't we take a Sunday once a month and host a "This Is Your Life." We have a living eulogy for someone who needs to hear it. We celebrate their life while they're still here to celebrate it with us!
Anyone interested?

Hey Kristy,
I think that's interesting that you wrote "all this 'stiff.'" I know that it's just a typo, but still, it's kind of funny because, you know, funeral...stiff. Anyway. Have a great day.
Blessings,
Johnny

Yes, I too think it's a good idea... I've often thought the same thing while sitting through funerals...

yes, I too feel that way, I have often heard someone say, "how good that person was" only to think back and wonder if it was said cause "we don't speak ill of the dead." Telling someone how good or wonderful or how we appreciate them makes them feel uncomfortable, so we often let it go by the wayside.Great idea, go for it sometimes we need that boost, life has ups and downs let's have a few ups'
