He was almost mine!

So, anyone who knows me, knows that I want an animal in my life pretty badly. More specifically, I want an animal in my apartment pretty badly.
Today Des and I were out and when we came home - like a sign from the Heavenly Father himself was a little black kitty in our back yard/hill. He was waiting for us!
I had no luck coaxing him inside with Des making barking noises in the background but, I think he needs us. Des thinks he belongs to the people who live in the house near where the cat was sitting. I think he's wrong. Des was also wondering if he came to live with us would he also come with the necessary pet deposit...I didn't think that was very funny. Maybe there's a puppy waiting just around the corner. I know, it's pathetic.
