You will laugh again

I was sitting in a chapel a few days ago listening to part of a worship team rehearsal. As most rehearsals go (at least the ones that are fun) there was much laughing going on. It was an odd moment when I looked at the people who were involved in that practice and remembered that some of them have experienced tremendous pain and heartache in recent days.
And then I realized part of God's grace is going through the traumatic, emotionally exhausting, draining heartaches of life, and finally being able to laugh again.
What a gift.
