Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream
There have been 3,728 coalition deaths -- 3,452 Americans, two Australians, 149 Britons, 13 Bulgarians, seven Danes, two Dutch, two Estonians, one Fijian, one Hungarian, 32 Italians, one Kazakh, three Latvian, 19 Poles, two Romanians, five Salvadoran, four Slovaks, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and 18 Ukrainians -- in the war in Iraq as of May 28, 2007, according to a CNN count. (Graphical breakdown of casualties). At least 25,549 U.S. troops have been wounded in action, according to the Pentagon.

Not to diminish the numbers, but you should cross-reference them to the Pentagon and the Associated Press. Many times CNN, Fox, etc. tend to 'politically skew' the numbers(Both aforementioned agencies numbered the VT tragedy at 50 dead for many hours). The BBC has maintained a solid international reputation of being 'fact-based' while reporting the news. Oh, that we should have such an agency on this continent ! Either way: the reality of this, and every, war is staggeringly horrific. Our continued prayers for ALL involved.........
