Tantrums
Praise God for giving me patience and clear thinking through a few tantrums today.
It's always a neat feeling when you can mentally remove yourself from the situation to figure out what to do. It doesn't always happen and it only happens when I choose to listen to what God is telling me. The times I get frustrated is when I want to do it myself and let my own feelings come through instead of listening to God and seeing the situation as He sees it.
All in all, they're pretty cute kids.

Amen sister.
My latest tantrum avoiding tactic is just picking Caden up, body and bones, and putting him his room. I don't make eye contact, I don't say anything and he'll scream in there until he's done. He usually comes out with a big smile on his face and I'll say, "Are you better now?" and he'll nod or say, 'Yaysh.'
They aren't little adults or babies at this age....they are more like little cavepeople. Just picture her in a leopard print toga with a bone in her hair and it'll make you laugh in the midst of the craziness.
Can't wait to see you!
