Opportunities

Just pausing a moment from a personal project to write about an opportunity I had tonight to seize an opportunity. I listened to a sermon recently about how we let the God-given opportunities in our daily life pass us by. Mostly, those opportunities are not taken because of time constraints or the business and the busyness of life getting in the way.
Tonight, I am happy to say I was only 10 minutes late for a school band concert because I was able to stop and listen to a very burdened woman release some of her tension. And, God made it such that I didn't miss a second of the kids band performance. Whew!
What a night.
