God's Talent
We were at the YMCA today swimming until we were pruny. We decided to have lunch at the little deli there so we all sat down for peanut butter sandwiches, chips, and chocolate milk. While we were having lunch, an ambulance had to be called because a lady from what I could gather, had hurt her leg and passed out in the gym area. So of course, G is enthralled with all that's going on and the questions start: What happened to the lady? Is she going to be ok? Will she die? What's that big van called?
So I tell her that everything is going to be alright because the right people are here to help the lady. No need to worry.
On the way home, G kept asking questions and talking about what she had seen. So I asked her if she wanted to pray for the lady. So she prayed: Dear God, please help that lady to get her leg better. Help her to eat more fruit so she can be healthy again. Help her sister to help her feel better. Amen.
So after she prayed she said, "I sure hope God can make her leg better."
I say, "Of course He can, God can do anything."
She responds, "Yes, because God is VERY talented."
