you look beautiful

so, I was a little ticked that I missed the first episode of How to Look Good Naked with Carson Kressley and am seriously considering staying up until 2:00 AM when it airs again.
But, I DID watch the episode recap on the Lifetime website and cried. It is just such a wonderfully compelling story about a woman who realizes she is beautiful without dieting or altering her body in any way. Watch it!
This girl went from feeling ugly to feeling sexy, confident, and thankful for who she was physically.
It was amazing to watch how throughout the episode you saw how she just transformed because she was shown how to dress her body in a way that complimented it. She stood in front of a mirror in her underwear and said "I feel sexy in this!" In her UNDERWEAR!
It was also amazing to see how her confidence was restored every time Carson told her she was beautiful. Yes she laughed at him and thought it was silly the way he was getting on about it, but after a while she really believed it. And then I started thinking about what confidence is given when someone tells you look good. I went out the door this morning wearing a pair of jeans, a long sleeved t-shirt with another t-shirt over it, and sneakers and my husband said, "you look beautiful honey, have a good day." Not to mention the "you look cute today" comment when I came into the kitchen.
