1 down 1 to go

So today was quite busy for us.
We were in Hendersonville this morning for the kids Christmas play which they did a FABULOUS job at! We were SO proud of them. They all looked so cute in their costumes, and they remembered their lines and sang out - it was just wonderful. They were proud of themselves and didn't want to take their costumes off.
Then, we were in Asheville this afternoon to see their kids Christmas play. It was a puppet show and it was very cute.
Then, we tried to make it to a concert with the Blue Ridge Orchestra and Voices in the Laurel and we got the wrong time. We thought it started at 7 when it actually started at 3...so we missed it by a long shot.
We had invited Jodi and Jared (newly engaged) to join us for the concert and so because there was no concert to attend, we went back to her place and ate yummy cookies and drank tea.
Then, I was hungry after lounging for a while so we went to Denny's.
Anyway, all that to say, it was a busy day and it was a good one too. It was hard to enjoy while my head was hurting but by the time we left for the concert this evening all was well.
We have the Waynesville Christmas play on Wednesday evening, so I'm stressing a little about that one. The kids know the music fine, I'm just a little worried about the speaking parts. The script is a little complicated and not very kid-friendly so we need to make some modifications before Wednesday. Hopefully the modifications won't further complicate things. It's been hard getting kids together for a practice. They're kids so it'll be cute either way.
Hope everyone has a good week!

That sounds so fun! I remember my favorite part of working in Greenville was doing the Christmas play. I thought they were going to forget every line and laugh their way through it but man, when it was crunch time, they TOTALLY proved me wrong.
Don't be nervous. It'll be fabulous and they will work their hardest to do their best for God, their families and Ms. Kristy.

How did the musical in Waynesville go? You should post some pics from both productions!
